Congratulations to Krista Caldwell (Quest University Canada), winner of our VEF Evolution Video Contest!
Entitled "The Evolution of Everything," the winning video walks us through the molecular theory of evolution using simple and effective illustrations and narration:


 

 Drawing from Darwin

In celebration of the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species, we asked for illustrations any of Charles Darwin’s writings. We received fantastic entries and had the difficult task of narrowing it down to three. All the entries were displayed at a celebration of the anniversary, and Greg Bole, as Charles Darwin, announced the judge's picks:

Evolution Outreach Contest

BC teachers are eager to teach evolution to students from kindergarten to grade 12. But although the best teaching uses hands-on activities to introduce, clarify and reinforce concepts and relationships, few such activities have been developed. Use your creativity and knowledge of evolution to develop a fun, effective hands-on classroom activity.
